Editor-in-Chief makes a publication decision based on the reviews and sends the author(s) a decision e-mail accompanied by the reviewers\u2019 reports or comments.<br>Manuscripts should be submitted via e-mail to:&nbsp;problemyjakosci@sigma-not.pl<br>The journal is provided in black and white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Publication fee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Due to the editorial policy publications in \u201eProblems of Quality\u201d (\u201eProblemy Jako\u015bci\u201d) are subject to a 100, 00 PLN net fee for one printed page. The fee covers the costs of typesetting and print and is collected\u00a0 after positive reviwes, but before publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a href=\"http:\/\/problemyjakosci.com.pl\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Guidelines-for-Authors.pdf\">Guidelines-for-Authors<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/problemyjakosci.com.pl\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Guidelines-for-Authors.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download>Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Ethics and publication malpractice statement concerning copyright\nmaterials published in SIGMA-NOT Publishing House journals (compiled basing on\nCOPE \u2013 Committee on Publication Ethics \u2013 guidelines) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>ETHICS AND PUBLICATION\nMALPRACTICE STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">SIGMA-NOT Publishing House, as a publisher of technical and scientific\njournals, is obligated to support adherence to ethical standards in copyright\nmaterials, publishing high quality materials and prevent any scientific\nmisconduct. Adherence to ethical rules is expected equally from all\nparticipants of the publication process: authors, editors, reviewers and the\npublisher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Editor\u2019s responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Editor evaluates papers in a fair and objective manner, with no regard to the author\u2019s race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, political philosophy, ethnic or geographic origin. The Editor\u2019s decision is made only on the basis of the article being analysed, taking into consideration its originality, scientific value, clarity, importance of the research or information for the science and technology community in a given domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Editor treats all papers received from the Authors as confidential\nand does not disclose them to persons that are not directly participating in\nthe publication process (authors, editors, reviewers etc.) and does not use\nthem for their own research purposes without the Author\u2019s written consent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Editor enables the Author to publish a factual discussion concerning\na part of an article being reviewed. The Editor does not block the possibility\nof publishing negative research results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Editor and the Editorial Board pay special attention to the\napplicable legal requirements concerning copyrights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Reviewer\u2019s responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The object of peer review is to assist the Editor-in-Chief and the\nEditorial Board in making decisions concerning the article\u2019s publication and to\npossibly help the Author in correcting or improving their work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Reviewer should objectively evaluate if they are able to review a\ngiven article, taking into consideration the paper\u2019s substance and a deadline\ndetermined by the Editorial Board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Reviewer declines reviewing a given article if they identify a\nconflict of interests resulting from e. g. financial, personal or professional\nconnections with article\u2019s author(s), company or an institution associated with\nthe paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Reviewer treats all papers received from the Editorial Board as\nconfidential and does not disclose them to third parties or use them for their\nown research purposes without the Author\u2019s written consent. The Review should\nbe formulated objectively, clearly, unambiguously, without personal criticism.\nCritical notes should be supported by matter-of-fact statements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Reviewer should notify the Editor of any similarity of an article\nbeing reviewed to any other papers that they know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Author\u2019s responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Author submits exclusively the original and unpublished papers,\nstating that they have the rights to dispose these materials. Submitting a\npaper simultaneously to several publishing houses in unacceptable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">An article should be prepared with appropriate citing and present\nmethods, research and results clearly so that the Author\u2019s reasoning can be\nfollowed and possible repeating of the research can be done by other\nresearchers in a given domain. The Article should take into account the state\nof knowledge in a given domain, and the research results should be described\nand analysed extensively and objectively. If partial results have been\npreviously published, the Author should inform the Editor and state it in the\narticle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Author declares that the research data used in the publication have\nnot been fabricated or manipulated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The article\u2019s authorship is limited to the persons who made significant\ncontributions to the idea, objectives, methods, research execution and\ninterpretation of results as well as the substantial development of the\narticle. All persons who made substantial contributions to the article must be\nlisted as co-authors. The Author submitting the paper should disclose\ncontributions of each and every author and make sure that all co-authors accept\nthe article\u2019s submission to the journal and the final version of the article. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Author should inform the Editorial Board about significant errors\nfound in the paper and cooperate with the Editor to correct them before\npublication or to make a correction in form of an errata. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Author should store raw data to make it accessible to the Editorial\nBoard or the authorized institutions if inquired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Author confirms, in justified cases, that all research were\nconducted in accordance with ethical and formal regulations applicable in a\ngiven domain of science (e.g. bioethics commission\u2019s consent). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">The Author should disclose information concerning financing the\npublication, contributions made by scientific research institutions,\nassociations and other parties, as well as the possible conflicts of interest\nconnected to the article. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Procedures in case of unethical practices <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">In case of alleged misconduct in the published or submitted article, especially in case of plagiarisms such as ghostwriting or guest authorship, the Editor takes measures to clarify the situation; the first step is to ask the Author to comment it. In case of confirmed misconduct significantly breaching the ethics, the Editor takes further action, for example: publishing information about the discovered misconduct and informing entities in which the Author is affiliated. Any signs of scientific misconduct are documented by the Editorial Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-normal-font-size\"><strong>GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">We accept original, never before published, scientific papers up to 30&nbsp;000 characters, including spaces and bibliography. Each manuscript undergoes a blind review by two independent reviewers. All references to the author are deleted.
